We believe the name says it all - UK Care for Children (UKC4C) does exactly that, we care for the most vulnerable group in our societies, the children. They are the most dependant, helpless and open to abuse of all groups. Their safety and education lies in the hands of adults, who, in many of the world’s poorest countries, either do not have the means, will or ability to provide and protect them as is needed.

We focus on 3 main areas:

1. The right to life:
It may seem obvious, but how can a child survive without food or safe water. Basic provisions are addressed for all the children we work with.

2. The right to an education:
Without which the children and orphans we work with will always be dependent on others. We see education as our main tool of poverty alleviation.

3. The right to protection:
We identify the most vulnerable children and sponsor them in order to ensure they are safe from exploitation and misfortune.

We work with local community-based organisations in order to build the capacity of not just the children but of the various support structures around them for sustainability.
