Our development projects are aimed at making long term changes to the lives of those we work with. Projects include:

Microcredit schemes designed to bring these poor families out of poverty. Funding and training is provided to needy families in order that they no longer remain dependent upon handouts helping them achieve long term self sufficiency.

Supporting orphans and vulnerable children to access education, without which their situation would never improve. Education is either sponsored or children are provided with the means to access existing provision. Barriers can be as little as unavailable uniforms and school bags – thus UKC4C has an extensive programme of distribution of such items.

Intervention need not be expensive and can make a real difference.
